Ampere is a 12-person electrical contractor based in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. Residential rewires, panel upgrades, EV chargers, light commercial. Two foremen, six journeymen, four apprentices. Same number we've had since 2014.

Two 20A small-appliance circuits, every kitchen. Code: NEC 210.11(C)(1). GFCI within 6ft of sink.
Dedicated 240V circuit, hardwired or NEMA 14-50. 40A or 50A per charger spec. Service call + 50ft run.
Required: bathrooms, kitchens (within 6ft of sink), garage, outdoor, basement, crawl space. NEC 210.8.
Surge-protective device on main service. New 2023 code requires Type 2 SPD on most new services.
For ADU or basement office. 60A or 100A sub-panel, feeder back to main. Bonded to main neutral; ground at main only.
Hardwired, interconnected. One per bedroom, one outside each sleeping area, one per level. NEC + NYC code.
