The Single Room
One room. We come twice; we make a pinboard like the one above; we source and we hang. Suited to a room you know & want to finish.
Wild Sprig Studio is a small interior decoration practice in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. We work on five houses at a time, and we keep a pinboard for each of them. The board you see below is for the present project: the Wescott house in Hudson, NY. A snapshot of where we are at week eleven.

One room. We come twice; we make a pinboard like the one above; we source and we hang. Suited to a room you know & want to finish.
Our principal commission. Six months on the pinboard, two seasons on site, one move-in week with us in the house. Three to five houses a year.
Half a day on site, a written letter, three pinboards, no contract. For rooms in flight; for paint-card debates; for the houses we cannot take but want to help.
We answer every letter by hand within ten days. The first conversation is short; the second is the house. We do not take on a project before we have stood in the room and watched its light for a day.
