Tea bowl, chestnut

A stoneware bowl in chestnut ash glaze. Wood-fired in the spring kiln; heavy in the hand. Meant for matcha and the kind of morning that doesn't need a phone.

Vase, indigo

A tall bottle form in porcelain, brushed with indigo slip. Narrow neck, for branches or a single stem. The kind of vase that does not need anything in it.

Deep, wide, footed. Cream slip over stoneware. For one big salad on a long table; the way a serving bowl should be.
